Your child will learn the VOCABULARY as well as the METHOD of classical ballet
–VOCABULARY: “what is ballet?” (steps, poses, turns and jumps)
–METHOD: “How can I make my body move like that?” (correct posture, strengthening, stretching)
THE DRESS CODE FOR BALLET IS:
–tights and leotard;
–long hair neatly tied;
–no loose jewelry.
TRAINING ON POINT SHOES
–after sufficient regular training at least twice a week.
–A medical examination is necessary to establish sufficient bone growth, no girl is allowed to begin training on point shoes before the onset of puberty.
LESSONS ARE PROGRESSIVE AND BASED ON A LONG-TERM PLAN

2. JAZZ DANCE / MODERN DANCE
Acquiring HORTON TECHNIQUE:
This is the same basic training for all members of the
ALVIN AILEY AMERICAN DANCE THEATER. Try it, it works for all kinds of bodies!
3. TAP DANCE
This is good ol’ american tap dance, not “Irish” or “Schuhplattler”!
4. BODY DYNAMICS
Everybody can profit from this class.
It’s about how to move your body in the most efficient way.
If your goal is
to re-shape your figure,
or to prepare for the next basketball season,
or to improve your posture,
or learn how to do the splits,
…then this is the right class for you.
Easy classical or jazz music to time our movements.
We use our own body-weight instead of sports equipment.
Each participant receives individual correction.
